If you obtained this be alternate means, please leave a message on the forums on my site so I can hire a bunch of assassins (or even layers) to lynch them or even worse, egg their house with both eggs and faeces.
Introduction:
So you've downloaded this off my dodgyass site. Yay! An extra hit! w00t! L00k 47 /\/\*/ 1337 5|<1|_2_!!!!!111oneone!!!2
Umm... yeah...
Suppose I better tell you how to use this...
Installation:
If you got this in a zip file, then extract it. I would recommend C:\Program Files\SnapperTheTwig\TwigMP3 as the destination, but it'll work any ware.
If you got this as an installer, then it is already installed. Yay!
Uninstallation:
Run the uninstallationaly thingy. If there isn't one, just delete the files, but if there is use it. The reason why is because Windows is like that annoying emo kid that you gf keeps making you put up with, you want to smash it with a large hard object such as a sponge, but you can't because even the slightest breeze will destroy him and you'll have to reinstall another gf. So, do what Windows wants and run the uninstaller.
Differences from TwigMp3 v2.0
- Annoying glitches with menus scrollbars fixed.
- Annoying glitch with Saving playlist.
- If one instance of TwigMp3 is running, and another is run with an file under its parameters, the file will be added to the playlist of the first and the second will close. IE, if you open 20 files at once, it'll automaticly make a playlist rather than opening 20 TwigMp3's.
- Screen no longer flickers constantly.
Differences from TwigMp3 v1.4
- This version is a complete rewrite from the old one. Many graphical differences, playlist system reworked, you'll see what’s different.
- Can support up to 20,000 songs as opposed to the original 10,000.
- Added ability to change position of song whilst playing it, also added ability to change song playing from play list (by double clicking the item you want to play.)
- More compatible. Will run on more machines, will play mp1, mp2, ogg files as well as module music files (mod, mo3, xm, it, mtm, s3m and umx files) in addition to the mp3's and wav's.
- Replaced some visualisations. Two still remain from the old one, two more (seismograph and spinner).
- There's a square sign on both the windows title bar and on the background. This is meant to mean version two, but there wasn't much room and it my be confused for TwigMp32, and some sad people would go looking for TwigMp's 4 - 31.
- Many glitches and issues fixed, many glitches and issues added and hidden for me to weed out later.*
Features to Be Added:
- More interesting visualisations. Maybe a dancing monkey.
Okay, That's Nice, How Do I Use It
It's actually quite simple. I’ll explain it using a picture. Sometimes large labelled images make things more complicated than its worth. That's the effect I'm trying to achieve. In addition, some people can't read red. Too bad. :(.
Confused? Good. Watch out for that black pixel! Which one you ask? Now you know how I feel.
Okay, so you probably like to play some songs like I have going. You have four options.
1. Drag and drop the file/play list you want to be played onto the exe. It'll load and play.
2. Assign TwigMp3 as the default player of mp3/m3u files. Do this by going to "tools -> folder options" in windows explorer, clicking "file types" and assigning TwigMp3 as the player of mp3/m3u files.
3. Pray to Jebus and get him to do it for you.
4. Click on the Playlist button, and this will take you to the following window:
So, either click "Add Song" or double click a "No File Loaded" slot to open the explorer. Pick a file, and double click it to add it. To change directories, double click the desired directory. To cancel, click the playlist tab to return to the previous window.
Now that you've got a few songs on, it should look something like this:
This is actually quite informative. The greyed out songs are the ones that have been played, the yellow one is either the song being played on the song the mouse is over (when I took this screenshot, "I Hope You Die" was playing, and my mouse was hovering over "Dreaming").
If you have clicked on a song once, it goes green (Case in example, "I.E.A.I.A.I.O" has been highlighted). Double click it for the player to jump to that song, clicking "Remove Song" removes it and clicking "Add Song" will add a song ABOVE it. To add a song BELOW it, click the "No file loaded" below it first.
Clicking "Randomise" (the thingy that looks like a lightning bolt) will randomise the list.
See, it isn't that hard.
Legal Jargon
See http:\\snapperthetwig.freepgs.com\about.html for more info. I trust your not stupid enough to do stupid things because I'm stupid enough to believe your not stupid when infact it is I who is stupid. This is stupid.
